This is the blog for Nadine Finigan, a mother, wife, sister, friend, and wannabe runner.  When I’m not running, I’m a prevention researcher focused on reducing adolescent risk behaviors.  I began running in 2011 to stay in shape.  On September 20, 2012, I had a hysterectomy which sidelined my “running career.”  In looking for information about exercising after a hysterectomy, there was very little information about what could be done and when by those who are active exercisers.  This is my way of documenting my journey for those who may be searching like I was.
